Guidelines/FAQ For Dance performers for Nov 16th. 

• • Do I need to be a SIFAA member to register ? 
    • Yes, Only Active SIFAA members can register 
    • Please login to Sifaa.org and identify your membership status and if inactive, please extend membership or become a member 

• • Who can fill the google form ? 
    • Only SIFAA members are allowed to apply
    • All local dance teachers, dancers who are 23 years or older are welcome to participate.

• • If I’m under 23 but have performed an arangetram can I still apply ? 
    • If you are an advanced student below age 23 and if you have completed arangetram, you can register

• • How will the SIFAA MRTP committee allocate slots for Dance ? 
    • All dance performances for individuals are allocated for 30 mins only. Do note, in the event of large number of entrants, we may have to reduce this time to accomodate all the entrants.
    • At this time we do not have the ability to encourage thematic dance performances for groups and schools.
    • All slots allocated will be based on a first come first serve basis. Please register as soon as we open registration to ensure a spot for your performance

• • When should I share the audio file for my dance?
    • Please test the audio file and share the audio file  in a google drive link as soon as your slot is confirmed by the date specified by SIFAA.
    • Please refrain from sharing /changing the audio files on the day of the event. 

• • What is MRTP Forum ? 
    • Margazhi in RTP is a forum to encourage gurus and musicians in the area to perform so we strongly encourage you to apply . 
    • MRTP Music event  is a full day event for 2 full days  and Dance event is a 12 hour event for one full day . So it is extremely difficult to accommodate specific time slots so we request participants and accompanists to be flexible and make yourself available for the duration of the weekend to allow this festival to be well organized, well attended as well.
    • And yes, SIFAA reserves the right to make the final decision on the time slots and performance time. 
    • As we will try our best to accommodate all the registrations, SIFAA reserves the right to choose on a first come, first served basis.
    • Participants canceling a confirmed spot on short notice will forfeit their ability to register for upcoming year (unless it is really unavoidable)
    • SIFAA will reserve the right to deny future slots for registrants who do not follow the guidelines listed.

• • Is there a COST to register and perform ? 
    • • Entry fee is free for SIFAA members
      • Participants have to be members. 
        

• • We register and what next ? 
    • SIFAA will review registrations and membership validity of the registrants and work towards time slots and communicate at the earliest
    • Upon receiving the communication , each registrant has to share membership details to the board by the stipulated time to keep the slot
